Payload
The “Payload” is what we call a full podcast with the editing and cuts from the different cameras. The shoot will also produce the raw files and you an have those if you bring in your own SSD (solid state drive).

Shorts and Reels
“Shorts” and “Reels” are referring to clips from the podcast that are usually 30-90 seconds long. Shorts is YouTube’s term and Reels are Instagram’s term. They mean pretty much the same as far as post-production editing is concerned. A “silver short” is minimal editing and a “gold short” is that same clip but more editing. Examples of shorts can be found here.

Distribution
“Distribution” in context of podcasting is referring to the podcast platforms. Examples of this would be Spotify, Apple Podcasts, iHeart and Audible.

Our studio is in Costa Mesa (Orange County, CA podcast studio). Our address is 432 East 17th Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92627 and we’re “wedged” between a bar (Wild Goose Tavern) and Mexican restaurant (Playa Mesa). We also share parking with Peets’ Coffee. Lots of parking in back.

No, sorry. We are not a self-service business. If you want to bring in your own cameras and people to film, you can do that, but we charge the same price. All the cameras, microhones, lighting and people are there so we only do full-service work.
